Glass Lewis has opened enrollment for its 2016 Issuer Data Report Program, which allows companies to access a data-only version of its Proxy Paper report prior to the analysis and recommendation being made by Glass Lewis. Unlike the ISS previews made available to S&P 500 companies, the Glass Lewis previews are only for the underlying data used in the report and do not include access to the advisory firm’s analysis or draft report. Yet, the program provides an opportunity for companies to preview the information on which the recommendations will be made, and should help address any inaccurate information before reports are issued. Companies receive the Glass Lewis preview about three weeks prior to their annual meeting and have 48 hours to review and correct the information via electronic comments made on the PDF file. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and is only available to a limited number of companies in the U.S. and certain other covered countries; enrollment will end on January 31 or when the annual limit has been reached.
